   An initiative to help ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp students with the cost of textbooks expands this semester to reach an estimated 2,500 students. ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp partnered with OpenStax, a Rice University-based nonprofit publisher, in the summer of 2016 to boost the use of free online and low cost textbooks across ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp courses.

5. ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp Corrections Education Program Sees Largest Graduation Ceremony

   Cody Zimmer is one of 57 individuals at Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy, Oklahoma graduating with a certificate or degree from ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp. The commencement ceremony was held on Thursday, July 20 and was the largest group since the ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp Corrections Education program started in 2007 as a partnership between the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Dick Conner Correctional Center and ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵapp.
