A learning space for ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµapp students to get clinical, hands-on learning in the Physical Therapist Assistant program is being recognized nationally as an innovative workforce development program. ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµapp is a 2019 Bellwether finalist in the Workforce Development category for the creation of the Nate Waters Physical Therapy Clinic at the ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµapp Metro Campus.

Higher Learning Commission Reaffirms Accreditation for ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµapp
The Higher Learning Commission has reaffirmed ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµapp’s accreditation. ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµapp is the largest community college in the state of Oklahoma serving 24,000 students annually in college credit courses.

ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµapp Expands Mental Health First Aid Training with Grant
ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµapp receives a $375,000 grant to expand mental health training for faculty, staff and a select group of students. The grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration has a goal to reach most of ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµapp’s full time faculty and staff. So far, ÀÙË¿ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµapp has already trained 150 faculty and staff in Mental Health First Aid and plans to train an additional 630 faculty, staff and select students over a three-year period.
